I am alive… just working on a long entry…
so please have some patience, i have always really hated to write papers - and the one i am working on is turning into a theory paper on what is “next” … after seeing many people try and predict what is next, i believe that we need to seek avenues that are less “evasive” toward our lives… it needs to benifit our real-world lives without taking more time than a phone order… more on the way.

Here is a thought…
all form is a function of a need and the aesthetic quality of a piece, while keeping to some pretty basic cognitive rules of perception. ok… here i will have to admit i was a psychology major, who almost went for his PhD in drug research… then well… decided to do what i do with design these days… but i am amazed every day that these “rules” seem to “ring true” to the soul/theme of any particular piece of design. I really wannah get into this more, and you will see where I am going with this when i get back to compiling design snips for a compendium of basic design principles - will say it is like going back to school, just slowly compiling from the most basic concepts, to the more complex… its been extremely educational and a blast to explore these concepts… kindah pathetic, but it is my music, my kid, and my conscious life because I love it and think it is really keen… (heh)
oh, and here i gottah also say that no designer should design only in one medium - it limits the exposure to thinking about the use of things that usually don’t go together in ways that nobody else may have thought of, and make it work for any particular project/task/design.
now you are like: “What-EVER!” - but i live design… and have VERY opinionated opinions - question is: can you take the time to consider the possibilities that could be endless?

the coolest use of technology as proof of concept…
Oh, a form of Real World social network data gathering and representation of social connections at a convention… interesting data gathering technique. Used in a convention - very cool use of the technology, question is, what kind of information was gleened.

Ok… Back in the Saddle…
Been gone for way to long… and well… much a-foot. Just got a FIREBOX for getting studio quality STEREO DIGITAL inputs for my omnidirectional mikes… (gonnah even be able to a psudo-sound-proofed recording space) now i just need to get some spit screens and there are 3 ideas for the creation of new podcasts, and working on refining them to make them both legal and possible… all with ads for MA… and the start of the “MINDACTIVE” part of MA. We need to think of what makes us “MA” in a positive PR standpoint… need to bang the drum for the big guys.

Absolute Wildly Awesome Ad
Check the following ad… wile it does the “what the heck is this ad for” and makes you wait for what the ad is for, it still is pretty impressive the sub-texts… and very beautiful.
Our latest TV ad - featuring massive paint explosions - took 10 days and 250 people to film. Huge quantities of paint were needed to accomplish this, which had to be delivered in 1 tonne trucks and mixed on-site by 20 people.
The effect was stunning, but afterwards a major clean-up operation was required to clear away all that paint!
The cleaning took 5 days and 60 people. Thankfully, the use of a special water-based paint made it easy to scrape-up once the water had evaporated.
Keeping everyone safe was also an important factor. A special kind of non-toxic paint was used that is safe enough to drink (it contains the same thickeners that are sometimes used in soups). It was also completely harmless to the skin.
The Director
Jonathan Glazer
The new Bravia TV commercial will be directed by award-winning director Jonathan Glazer, who is responsible for a dazzling array of original work in the fields of commercial, music video and film production.
His credits include videos for bands such as Jamiroquai, Massive Attack and Radiohead, some of the most memorable ads for Guinness and Stella Artois, and the feature films Birth and Sexy Beast.
