2 Barack Obama Music Videos

Loading ...A friend sent me this link to these some political music videos for Barak Obama, took the 4.5 minutes to watch it… nice to see a campaign on the idea of change, but proof is in the pudding him into office… once that task is done, lets see if we get the change back to the values we have lost.
This one is called “Yes We Can” and i am not sure of the source of the speech becuse it is an awesome one.
This is one is called “We Are The Ones” and is probably not as strong as the other.
The movement of the political campaign into the virtual, from Hillary having a presence in Second Life, and Barak doing these YouTube videos, to Hillary and Bill already YouTube veterans and Barak also having fully embraced the bLogging community, has made for a remarkable campaign and it will be interesting to see how it plays out. In any case, we should be electing our first black president. I applaud the idea, and am saddened it has not happened sooner.

Re-Skinning 99% Complete…

Well, spent a little time getting some things buttoned up in the WordPress world. This site is 99% there, and now it just needs some faithfull posting to fill it with some usefull stuff. Going to really start searching for the good things afoot with the Saint Louis Design Scene…. more feeds on the way to monitor some interesting groups within a new site i found called: MeetUp.com. It has some interesting possibilities for networking in the real world of Saint Louis design, at least those who are techno-savvy.
So the goal now is to make some posts, no promises - but i hope to add one each week.

I am alive… just working on a long entry…
(-1 rating, 1 votes) Loading ...so please have some patience, i have always really hated to write papers - and the one i am working on is turning into a theory paper on what is “next” … after seeing many people try and predict what is next, i believe that we need to seek avenues that are less “evasive” toward our lives… it needs to benifit our real-world lives without taking more time than a phone order… more on the way.

Here is a thought…
(No Ratings Yet) Loading ...all form is a function of a need and the aesthetic quality of a piece, while keeping to some pretty basic cognitive rules of perception. ok… here i will have to admit i was a psychology major, who almost went for his PhD in drug research… then well… decided to do what i do with design these days… but i am amazed every day that these “rules” seem to “ring true” to the soul/theme of any particular piece of design. I really wannah get into this more, and you will see where I am going with this when i get back to compiling design snips for a compendium of basic design principles - will say it is like going back to school, just slowly compiling from the most basic concepts, to the more complex… its been extremely educational and a blast to explore these concepts… kindah pathetic, but it is my music, my kid, and my conscious life because I love it and think it is really keen… (heh)
oh, and here i gottah also say that no designer should design only in one medium - it limits the exposure to thinking about the use of things that usually don’t go together in ways that nobody else may have thought of, and make it work for any particular project/task/design.
now you are like: “What-EVER!” - but i live design… and have VERY opinionated opinions - question is: can you take the time to consider the possibilities that could be endless?
