At the Venice Biennale, the mæve installation connects the entries of the EveryVille student competition and puts them into the larger context of MACE content and metadata. By placing physical project cards on an interactive surface, the visitors can explore an organic network of projects, people and media. mæve is designed and developed by the Interface Design team of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam.

This is a great application for detail views of high-res imagery. I can see an application for this as this in medical and PHARMA tradeshows and exhibits, as well as shows that need people to linger in a tradeshow booth by captivating users and engaging them to manipulate images on their own.
Sony Flexible Full Color Video Screen at CES

These were showcased at the last CES in Las Vegas, this technology is getting bigger and bigger, the last time I saw them they were 22 inch screens and should hit the market this year 2008. I would see application for these on poles, in very dynamic signage opportunities and installations. Check out this video.
Wireless HDMI Solutions

FlyWire wireless HDMI by Belkin. The unit will soon be available in two separate versions. There will be a $1,500.00 multi-room unit set to hit sometime before the end of the year possibly in mid October. Then in 2009 a lower end model at or near $700.00 called FlyWire R1 which is intended for one unit or single-room installations.
